Roughriders Provide "Gamelike" Practice for Bears

The Bears walked away with their first ever playoff victory tonight (42-14) as the shorthanded Roughriders took a quick exit from the playoffs. This game was never close and could have been a shutout if the bears didn't have a couple of lapses in their second string defense and major faux-paus in their second string offense. Regardless, the Bears showed why they were seeded second in the AAA division of the Rocky Mountain Football League. The Bears move on to play the Madison Lionz next week at Logan High.

Several of the Ogden Rhino-Raiders were in attendance scouting the game. The Bears should meet the Rhino-Raiders in the championship game in a few weeks.

The Bears play next on July 1 at 7 p.m. back on their regular home field, Logan High School, against the Madison Lionz.
